Historical Event Venue In The Annapolis Valley

Main Street Station (formerly The Cornwallis Inn) was host to some of the grandest events that took place in Atlantic Canada in the 20th century. Recent renovations have brought the space back to life whilst staying true to the building's historical charm and character.

Let this historic building be your event canvas! We have a range of unique spaces for every type of event from small and intimate to large and lively.

 

The Ballroom - Feel the energy of the big band and jazz events from a bygone age! The 2,000+ sq/ft historical ballroom boasts floor to ceiling windows, antique chandeliers, hardwood floors, and a stage that can grow according to your band's needs. This makes for a perfect venue for a wedding, fundraiser, or concert.  

 

The ballroom's capacity is 160 and Maritime Express can provide an on-site bar completely free of charge! We also have creative hors d'oeuvres and banquet menus available to help make your event stress-free, but we do allow outside catering as to not limit your options.

The Dining Room - This newly renovated airy room with original features from the 1930's is a great venue for workshops, large meetings, small musical events, group presentations, or cocktail receptions. The capacity is 60.

The Parlour Room - This  space feels like you are in an old English Parlour, with cozy elements such as a fireplace, a hardwood bar, harvest tables, and a resident deer head! The capacity is 30, and we can accommodate standing events, or private sit-down meals. Perfect for retirement parties, anniversaries, birthdays, or small office parties.
